Ingredients

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, and eggs.
- Add melted butter and vanilla, stir well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool, then top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spices to your preference.
- Can substitute pumpkin with sweet potato.
- Serve warm or chilled.
