- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, French onion soup, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of meatballs.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
Notes
- Serve with pasta or on a sub roll.
- You can use ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
