Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
  2. Add flour and salt, stirring until mixture forms a ball.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Pipe the dough into ring shapes into the hot oil.
  8. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze, then dip crullers in the glaze.
