Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
- Add flour and salt, stirring until mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pipe the dough into ring shapes into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze, then dip crullers in the glaze.

- Ensure oil temperature is maintained for even frying.
- Use a pastry bag for piping the dough for better control.
- Store crullers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
