Description
A classic Thanksgiving feast featuring turkey, stuffing, and all the traditional sides.
Ingredients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups cranberry sauce
- 1 pumpkin pie
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and celery until soft.
- In a bowl, mix bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken broth gradually until moist.
- Stuff the turkey with the bread mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for 3-4 hours, basting every hour.
- Remove foil for the last hour to brown the skin.
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.

- Ensure the turkey is fully thawed before cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
- Leftover stuffing can be baked separately.
