Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup calamansi juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, calamansi juice, brown sugar, garlic, and onion.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the turkey.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and add water.
  5. Cover with foil and roast for 2 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and roast for another hour, basting occasionally.
  7. Check if the turkey is cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F).
  8. Let it rest before carving and serving.
