Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together.
  3. Add flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Press half of the mixture into a greased baking pan.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and drizzle caramel sauce over the baked layer.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans evenly on top.
  8. Crumble the remaining mixture over the chocolate and pecans.
  9. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before cutting into bars.
