An easy tiramisu recipe that is simple to make and delicious.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 3 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur.
  2. In another bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale.
  3. Add mascarpone cheese to the egg mixture and mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture briefly.
  7. Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers in a dish.
  8. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  9. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers on top.
  10. Spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over the second layer.
  11. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  12. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.
