- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1 cup of onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon of sage
- 1 tablespoon of thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped celery and onion, and sauté until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and mix until the bread is moist.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top.

- Use day-old bread for better texture.
- Feel free to add cooked sausage for extra flavor.
