  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Layer 3 noodles, half the ricotta mixture, and a layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, sauce, and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  11. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
