This easy hamburger potato casserole is a comforting dish with layers of ground beef, potatoes, and cheese.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
- Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Spread half of the beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle with half of the cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Mix the soup and milk, then pour over the casserole.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
