- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups salsa
- 4 cups tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add black beans, corn, and taco seasoning to the skillet.
- Stir in salsa and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the tortilla chips.
- Spread half of the beef mixture over the chips.
- Add half of the cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining chips, beef mixture, and cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Serve with sour cream on top.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey as a lighter option.
- For a vegetarian version, substitute meat with additional beans.
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings like jalapeños or green onions.
