Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix blackberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Evenly distribute the blackberry mixture on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
