Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey (15 lbs)
  • 2 cups stuffing
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by removing giblets and patting dry.
  3. Stuff the turkey with stuffing.
  4. Rub butter over the turkey and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth over it.
  6. Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, basting every hour.
  7. While the turkey cooks, boil potatoes until tender.
  8. Drain potatoes and mash with milk, salt, and pepper.
  9. Steam green beans until tender.
  10. Serve turkey with sides of mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce.
