Description
A classic appetizer for Thanksgiving gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove eggs from heat and place them in cold water to cool.
- Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Remove yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork.
- Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mix until smooth.
- Fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture.
- Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.
- Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Can be made a day ahead.
- Try adding chopped herbs for extra flavor.
