Description

Decadent oatmeal fudge bars are a rich and indulgent dessert. They combine the hearty texture of oats with a creamy fudge layer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, and salt.
  3. Press half of the mixture into a greased baking pan.
  4. In a saucepan, heat chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk until melted and smooth.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture over the pressed oat layer in the pan.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top of the fudge.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store bars in an airtight container.
  • For a nutty flavor, add chopped nuts to the mixture.
