Decadent oatmeal fudge bars are a rich and indulgent dessert. They combine the hearty texture of oats with a creamy fudge layer.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, and salt.
- Press half of the mixture into a greased baking pan.
- In a saucepan, heat chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk until melted and smooth.
- Pour the fudge mixture over the pressed oat layer in the pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top of the fudge.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store bars in an airtight container.
- For a nutty flavor, add chopped nuts to the mixture.
- Experiment with different types of chocolate chips.
