- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the potatoes in the dish.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese over the potatoes.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the layers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cheese, and cream mixture.
- Dot the top with remaining butter.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes until potatoes are tender and top is golden.
Notes
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Can substitute cheese for your preference.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
