  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brown the beef roast on all sides.
  3. Place the roast in the crockpot.
  4. Add beef broth, carrots, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  6. Remove the roast and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
