Description

A simple and delicious crockpot lasagna recipe that is easy to prepare and perfect for a family meal.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Mix the ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Place three lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  6. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese and another layer of marinara sauce.
  7. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or until the noodles are tender.

Notes

  • Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • Use no-boil lasagna noodles for easier preparation.
