Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 pound of boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of diced carrots
  • 1 cup of diced celery
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 2 cups of biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, peas, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken with two forks.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough on top.
  6. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for faster preparation.
  • For a thicker stew, add extra biscuit dough.
