Ingredients

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add white wine and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in seafood stock and bring to a boil.
  6. Add crab and shrimp, simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Blend the bisque until smooth, then serve hot.
