Description
A delicious homemade version of Taco Bell’s nacho fries.
Ingredients

- 2 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Cut potatoes into thin fries.
- Soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix oil and spices.
- Toss fries in the oil mixture until evenly coated.
- Spread fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Return to oven for 5 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve with nacho cheese sauce and sour cream.
Notes
- For extra crunch, fry the potatoes instead of baking.
- Adjust spice levels to your preference.
- Serve immediately for best taste.
