A delicious homemade version of Taco Bell’s nacho fries.


Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut potatoes into thin fries.
  3. Soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
  4. In a bowl, mix oil and spices.
  5. Toss fries in the oil mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Spread fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway.
  8. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  9. Return to oven for 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  10. Serve with nacho cheese sauce and sour cream.
