- 1 packet of puff pastry
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of cornstarch
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry and line a baking dish.
- Bake the pastry until golden brown, then let it cool.
- In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and cornstarch.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and vanilla extract.
- Heat the milk mixture until it thickens, then add the egg mixture.
- Cook until the custard is smooth, then let it cool.
- Layer custard between baked pastry layers.
- Top with whipped cream.
- Chill before serving.
