  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  5. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
  6. Stir in hot water until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the bundt pan.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter on top of the batter.
  9. Pour the remaining batter over the peanut butter.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
