Ingredients

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. Mix cocoa powder into one bowl.
- In a greased loaf pan, alternate layers of pumpkin batter and chocolate batter.
- Use a knife to swirl the batters together gently.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- This bread freezes well.
