Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Divide the batter into two bowls. Mix cocoa powder into one bowl.
  6. In a greased loaf pan, alternate layers of pumpkin batter and chocolate batter.
  7. Use a knife to swirl the batters together gently.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing.
