Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Make three wells in the dry ingredients.
  4. Pour vinegar into one well, oil into another, and vanilla into the third.
  5. Pour water over all the ingredients and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.
