  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then brown in the skillet.
  3. Add sausage and cook until browned.
  4. Remove meat from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add onions and peppers to the skillet, cooking until softened.
  6. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1 minute.
  7. Pour in white wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet.
  8. Return chicken and sausage to the skillet.
  9. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
