- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 8 ounces pasta
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken in olive oil, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce.
- Once chicken is cooked, slice it and add to pasta with marinara sauce.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic to the marinara sauce.
- You can use whole wheat pasta for a healthier option.
