Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cheddar bay biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large pot, combine seafood stock, heavy cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add chopped shrimp, crab meat, potatoes, peas, carrots, and onions to the pot. Stir to combine.
  4. Cook on medium heat until the mixture thickens.
  5. Transfer the seafood mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Prepare the cheddar bay biscuit mix according to package instructions. Add shredded cheddar cheese to the mix.
  7. Dollop the biscuit mixture over the seafood filling.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other seafood like scallops or fish.
