Delicious carne asada street style tacos with fresh toppings.
Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 limes, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Marinate the flank steak with olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or skillet.
- Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak on each tortilla.
- Top with chopped cilantro and onions.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
