Delicious bars with a caramel and pecan topping on a cookie base.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar.
- Add flour, oats, and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Press the mixture into a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and pour caramel sauce over the baked base.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the caramel.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store bars in an airtight container.
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar.
- Serve warm for gooey caramel.
