Description

Cajun shrimp deviled eggs are a flavorful twist on the classic deviled eggs. They combine creamy yolks with spicy Cajun shrimp for a delicious appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 pound cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes and cool them in ice water.
  2. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  4. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mix until smooth.
  5. Fold in the chopped shrimp.
  6. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  7. Garnish with chives.
  8. Chill before serving.
