Ingredients

- 1 loaf of brioche bread, cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onion, celery, and garlic. Sauté until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed brioche, sautéed vegetables, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the broth and mix well.
- Add the beaten eggs and stir until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For added flavor, include cooked sausage.
- Adjust the herbs to your preference.
- Can be made a day ahead and baked before serving.
