Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Remove sausage and drain excess fat.
  4. In the same skillet, whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add milk gradually, whisking until thickened.
  6. Stir in cooked sausage and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cut biscuits into quarters and layer in a greased baking dish.
  8. Pour gravy mixture over biscuits.
  9. Whisk eggs and pour over the top.
  10. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 30-35 minutes.
