A hearty breakfast casserole featuring biscuits and sausage gravy.
Ingredients

- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Remove sausage and drain excess fat.
- In the same skillet, whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Add milk gradually, whisking until thickened.
- Stir in cooked sausage and season with salt and pepper.
- Cut biscuits into quarters and layer in a greased baking dish.
- Pour gravy mixture over biscuits.
- Whisk eggs and pour over the top.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Notes
- Can substitute turkey sausage for a lighter option.
- Use your favorite cheese for added flavor.
- Make ahead and refrigerate overnight before baking.
