- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, rice, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until rice is tender.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave.
