Tender and flavorful BBQ chicken made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, onion, apple cider vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix with the sauce before serving.
Notes
- Serve with rice or on buns.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Can freeze for up to 2 months.
