- 4 slices of bread
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, coating both sides.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook each slice of bread until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Top with mixed berries and serve with maple syrup.
Notes
- Use whole grain bread for added fiber.
- Adjust the sweetness with more or less banana.
