Ingredients

- 1 turkey (12-14 lbs)
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Season the turkey with salt and pepper.
- Brush the marinade over the turkey.
- Place turkey in a roasting pan.
- Roast for 3-4 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Let turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- This recipe can be adjusted for smaller turkeys.
- Marinate the turkey overnight for better flavor.
